Socio-spatial inequality and school are strongly related. Where people live affects the opportunities individuals have in life, such as opportunity to send your children a good school. The level of urbanisation is related number options choose schools, so more urbanised areas likely offer for schools. However, families that can schools with high income or education levels. Data this study come from two waves Taiwan Youth Project (N = 2,893), which consists cohorts students 162 classrooms 40 junior northern Taiwan. When quality proxied by socioeconomic status (SES), results show that, general, most areas, wealthier parents, higher-educated go higher SES strongest effects parents areas. This suggests regarding choice, richer educated better able circumvent catchment either because they afford an address area understand importance choice.
